Spray Rose
Most species of rose are native to Asia, with smaller numbers native to Europe, North America, and northwestern Africa.
Rose bushes of all types produce main stems, or peduncles. On a rosebush that produces a single flower, this peduncle grows into one rosebud. The peduncles on spray roses make multiple pedicels or smaller stems. Each pedicel then produces a single blossom.
Spray roses can be singles, with four to eight petals; semi-doubles, with 12 to 25 petals; or doubles, with 25 to 45 petals.
